Summer Maintenance Tips For Your Lexus

• Monitor your tire pressure. Both heat and cold affect tire pressure, so make sure you keep track of your tires — and don’t forget the spare!
• Get your alignment checked. Bumpy roads and general wear and tear will both affect your tires’ alignment. Proper alignment leads to a smoother ride, better gas mileage, and less wear on your tires.
• Check your fluid levels. Like tire pressure, both heat and cold will affect your fluid levels. Other than your windshield wiper fluid, you’ll want to check your transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant.
• Have your battery checked. Heat can accelerate the oxidation process in your battery, and you don’t want to search for a jump while on vacation!
• Have your oil changed. If it’s time to have your oil changed, don’t wait!
