Head-Up Display is definitely a brag-worthy feature in our new Lexuses. It allows you to look at your performance stats and other details while on the road, but how do you safely turn it on and adjust it to your liking? Lexus of New Orleans in Metairie, LA is happy to share that with you.

Turning On Your Head-Up Display

To turn on your Head-Up display in your Lexus, you should see a “HUD” button located to the left of your steering wheel. Press this button to turn your Head-Up display on or off.

Adjusting Your Display

You as the driver are able to adjust the display’s brightness and position by using your Multi-Information Display on your dash. Under ‘Settings’ you should find an option for ‘HUD Brightness/Position.’

When you press the home button on your steering wheel, it should give you options for your settings display when you toggle the left and right arrow steering wheel buttons.

Here’s where the up and down steering wheel arrows come into play. You can use these to scroll down or up and highlight the option you want. Press the ‘OK’ button to select the highlighted option. In this case, we’ll go with the ‘HUD Brightness/Position’ option.

Once it displays, you can use the left and right buttons to adjust the brightness on your Head-Up display to your liking! The up and down arrow buttons will move your display up and down on the windshield.
